Peace for the World

A Poem by Vaishnavi M., Age 8

Peace for the World

Peace to me means "No fights",
But do we all realize it?
No, we don't.

Peace is a good word to think of,
So that there is no violence around.
Peace could be anywhere
Where people think and cooperate.
Peace is good anywhere and everywhere you go.

But here is a rule.
Don't push and hit.
Tell your feelings and what you don't like about.

Peace is not only for people.
It is for grass and trees too.
They are also things that breathe and live.
When you rest in the patio, make sure you don't sit on the grass.
Don't cut down trees.
They mean no harm to us.
Be at Peace with them.
Save Our World.

What is better, Peace or Violence?
I choose Peace.
Stay home with your family.
Don't go far to fight a war.
Don't fish or hunt in forests.
Don't step on ants 'cause it is like a giant stepping on you.

Many people have tried to get Peace.
But not everybody listens.
But Oh! my beloved friends,
Listen to me, I tell you,
"Have peace my friends."

Anybody who reads my request,
Please help me spread the word.

Let Peace ring around our Planet Earth.
